The natural way to feed your plants.

For centuries, cultures around the world have relied on seaweed as a natural fertiliser, harnessing its rich nutrients to enhance soil health and boost crop yields. From coastal communities in Europe and Asia to indigenous practices in the Americas, seaweed has been prized for its ability to restore soil vitality and promote vigorous plant growth. Packed with essential minerals, trace elements, and natural growth hormones, seaweed offers a sustainable, eco-friendly solution that supports the health of both the land and the plants that thrive upon it. Its time-tested benefits continue to prove invaluable for modern agriculture, making it an enduring ally for sustainable farming, gardening and your houseplants.

We only use freshly beached 'waste' seaweed.

Our seaweed is handpicked from the beautiful beaches of Cornwall in South West England. The seaweed we pick is classed as waste seaweed and gets pushed up from the coast onto the beaches. Usually, this seaweed will remain in pockets on the beach where it will either rot and attract flies or be moved and not utilised effectively. For us at Aqua Culture, we wanted to do more, so we closely collaborate with local councils to collect the waste seaweed that doesn’t otherwise get pulled back into the ocean sustainably. This enables us to effectively use otherwise waste material without impacting local wildlife or habitats. We then hand-press it into 100% natural seaweed fertiliser.

We are partnered with Ecologi

With every purchase you make with Aqua Culture a tree is planted! We have teamed up with Ecologi to offer this amazing benefit to making the world a greener place. Trees, plants, seaweed are all integral to removing carbon from the atmosphere and giving us clean oxygen to breathe. Let’s build forests together by planting trees, feeding your plants and utilising waste to make the world a healthier and better place.

Our Products

We take pride in carefully selecting and extracting seaweed from the pristine shores of Cornwall, ensuring the highest quality and nutrient-rich content for our products.

the plant power of the cornish coast

We harness the power of the Cornish coast to collect waste seaweed and extract its nutrient dense liquid and use its natural wonders for your garden life.

Plant Power

Seaweed fertiliser is a high nutrient dense plant food that has over 40 core nutrients that all plant life can benefit from to flourish. Seaweed extract helps the plant from soil to root to flower aswell as become stronger with longer life cycles.

nutrient dense

Seaweed is rich in over 40 vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutrients, all in a highly bioavailable form that plants can easily absorb. This makes it a valuable source of both macro and micronutrients, supplementing the three main macronutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) found in regular fertilisers.

carbon negative

Seaweed fertiliser offers carbon negative benefits by absorbing CO2 during growth, reducing carbon emissions. It enhances soil health, promoting carbon sequestration. Sustainable seaweed farming contributes to marine ecosystem restoration, making it an eco-friendly choice for carbon-conscious agriculture.

sustainable

Seaweed fertiliser is sustainable due to its renewable nature, low environmental impact, and positive contributions to ecosystems. It requires no freshwater, land, or synthetic inputs. Seaweed farming enhances water quality, biodiversity, and mitigates climate change. A truly eco-friendly choice for sustainable agriculture.
